  • What is CI?
    • Comprehensible Input:Essentially, it is what the teacher gives the students; in order for the input to be considered comprehensible, the student needs to understand what is being said and/or given. Focus is on meaning, not grammar rules.
  • Why CI?
    • The ability to stay in the target language 90%+
    • Increase engagement and communication
    • Research based method
  • How do I CI?
    • Describe ways to use comprehensible input methods in your classroom
  • Conclusions after making the switch:
    • Discuss successes and challenges as a result of using comprehensible input
